Background
Glitch, previously known as "Ultrafirelord2000", is X Platform's primary vocalist and rhythm guitar player.
He originates from the Battle Royale game, Xtra-Terrestrial Tussle, in which he is an Agent-class character in alignment with the Xenpod faction, an alien race taking refuge on earth. Glitch is one of the few humans who supports their cause.
Xtra-Terrestrial Tussle is notorious for having a "troll"-infested community. The players always throw insults at each other and are highly competitive. The game is poorly moderated, poorly balanced, and has no anti-cheat programming in place. His creator and pilot of his character, Nigel Napales, revels in this environment, using hacking and bug abuse to his advantage to pwn n00bs.
Personality
Glitch is a chronic jokester who often seems incapable of taking things seriously. He has an easy-going and silly personality and is not often one to display many "negative" emotions. His impish and charismatic persona make him a natural entertainer, allowing him to fit seamlessly into his role as the band's frontman.
Much of Glitch's personality is inherited from his creator Nigel's online behaviour and his interactions towards fellow Xtra-terrestrial Tussle players.
Story (so far...)
Crystalline Solace
After being captured by the band's nemesis, Glitch was incarcerated inside a digital archive. Within this void-like expanse, he was forced to reconcile with isolation and a profound feeling of loneliness that began to grow the longer he had been separated from his bandmates. As time passed by, he became ready to accept this fate, thus 'Crystalline Solace' became as an ode to his seclusion.

After spending time around “real musicians,” Glitch set out to master his own instrument. He tried synth/keyboard and drums, ultimately settled on guitar—after realizing it’s what gets the ladies’ attention. At least, that’s how he sees it, since the best guitarist he knows gets way more attention than he does...
Glitch's guitar was tailor-made to suit his preference in both aesthetic and feel. He's even augmented its inner electric components to make his guitar sound like a synth.
As for why he named it Steven... You'd have to ask him, I guess.
